John Petrucci, ultra noto chitarrista dei Dream Theater, ha dichiarato ai microfoni della rivista italiana Teen Rock, che cosa pensa degli Avenged Sevenfold. Ecco le parole precise dette durante l’intervista, che potrete leggere per intero nel numero 22 di Dicembre.

Traduzione: “I Sevenfold? Oh si, sono fantastici, assolutamente! Stanno facendo qualcosa di grande…hai presente…passaggi di chitarra fighi, botta e risposta tra chitarre. Allo stesso tempo hanno però un suono unico e nuovo. Riescono a relazionarsi meglio con i giovani grazie a questo sound che non è metal al 100%…come lo chiameresti un genere così? I due chitarristi sono molto talentuosi”

The Italian magazine TEEN ROCK has recently interviewed John Petrucci from Dream Theater and it asked what he thinks about Avenged Sevenfold. Here the words during the interview which will be out in the issue n.22 in December.

Answer: “Sevenfold? Oh yeah, they’re great, absolutely!They’re doing something great, you know… cool guitar playing, challenging guitar playing, but at he same time, they have a unique and new sound. a lot of young people can relate with them more than true metal. How do you call a sound like this? They two guitarists are very talented.”
